Zinsser's Cover Stain is an interior / exterior primer, sealer, stain sealer and bond coat that dries for recoat in only two hours. On interior surfaces, Cover Stain dries quickly and has great hiding power, providing outstanding stain killing and enamel undercoating performance. Stains of all kinds are permanently sealed so topcoats are blemish free. Cover Stain is especially effective on nicotine and water stains. New wood trim can be primed, sanded and top coated the same day, saving time and money. On exterior surfaces, Cover Stain has a unique formulation that delivers full penetration and flexibility on all surfaces, especially dimensionally unstable wood panelling and trim, where few oil-based primers can succeed. It resists cracking and peeling and is compatible with all decorative top coats. The primer is white in colour, but can also be tinted to mid-tone colours. It can be applied via an airless sprayer, brush, pad or roller. Application information: Coverage: 9.8m2 per Litre. Touch dry: 35 minutes. Hard dry: 4 - 7 days. Re-coatable: 2 hours.
